AAGI CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY POLICY

Introduction

AAGI is committed to complying with California’s Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA). In that regard, it is our intent that you know: (1) what personal information is being collected, (2) whether your personal information is sold or disclosed and to whom, (3) your right to access or delete your personal information, and (4) your right to be free from discrimination if you exercise your rights under the CCPA. Personal Information That We Collect

We collect only that personal information that you have supplied to us and that appears on the various products that you have purchased. The categories of personal information collected are your: (1) name and address, (2) telephone number(s), (3) email address(es), (4) vehicle identification number (“VIN”), and (5) if you have financed our products separately from the financing of your vehicle, bank account and/or credit card information.

Purpose for Collecting Your Personal Information

We collect your personal information only for business operational purposes which include the following: (1) maintaining and servicing your accounts, (2) providing customer service, (3) processing cancellation requests and refunds, (4) processing transfer requests, (5) obtaining insurance, and (6) adjudicating benefits and claims.

Disclosing Your Information

We disclose the above categories of personal information only to our service providers and insurers, and only for the above-mentioned business purposes. Service providers and insurers process information on our behalf pursuant to written contracts which prohibit the service providers and insurers from using, retaining or disclosing your personal information other than for the specific purpose of performing the services specified in the contract. WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You have the right, pursuant to a verifiable request, that we disclose to you the personal information about you that we collect, and the personal information about you that we disclose for business purposes. You also have the right to request the deletion of your personal information pursuant to a verifiable request. You may make your verifiable request to disclose or delete through our website at Contact Us, or by telephone at +1-800-313-8421. We will verify that you are the person about whom you are seeking information by asking you to provide information that matches information already provided by you. If you use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, we will also require written proof that the agent has been authorized by you to act on your behalf, unless you have provided the authorized agent with a power of attorney pursuant to Probate Code Sections 4000 to 4465.

Upon receiving your request, we will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) days and provide information about how we will process the request. We will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, provided that we notify you of the extension, and the reason for the extension, within the first 45-day period. The disclosure will cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your verifiable request, and shall be made in writing and delivered by mail or electronically at your option in a readily useable format that allows you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

Exercising Your Rights

We will not discriminate against you because you have exercised any of your rights under the CCPA, including but not limited to: (1) denying goods or services to you, (2) charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties, (3) providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you if you exercise your rights, and (4) suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
